Verification of active security labels should be the final inspection process completed by the Source Tagging manufacturer or packaging company.  This ensures the retailer that the appropriate security label is active for their operation.  Verification is also key to the Source Tagging manufacturer as retailers perform audits to monitor tagging compliance.  This extra step is a small price to pay compared to the fees and charges from the retailer for non-compliant tagging.
